    Power+ catalyst releases metal oxide nanoparticles making oxygen readily available to the fuel mixture which enhances combustion.

    Power+ also reduces the combustion temperature of carbon allowing deposits to burn off within the normal operating temperature of the engine. This also contributes to fuel efficiency and improves overall engine maintenance.

    In this way Power+ also reduces harmful exhaust emissions reducing environmental impact.

    At Leeds University, Professor G.E. Andrews, Reader in Combustion Engineering, recorded Bosch smoke reductions of 50% at 30kw, 75% at 60kw and 75% at 100kw when Powerplus was tested on a new Perkins Phaser (test) engine fitted with an oxidation catalyst.

    In a series of smoke tests on various commercial diesel vehicles, conducted in association with fleet operators, the lowest reduction in black smoke emissions was 17% and the highest was 73%. Real world results such as these have been achieved and experienced by many operators.

    Extensive field studies have shown that with Powerplus™ Fuel Catalyst fitted to commercial vehicles that fuel savings of between 5 and 13 percent are achieved.

    In addition, many further benefits of using Powerplus™ have been recorded and observed. Powerplus™ is easy to fit, maintenance free and works with all hydrocarbon fuels including petrol, diesel, LPG & bio-fuels.

    How Powerplus technology works
    Power+ works by re-arranging the fuel molecules. The core effect is to break larger hydrocarbon clusters down into smaller ones that have weaker bonding. This produces a more homogenous mixture of fuel and oxygen, allowing more even and thorough combustion.

    Power output
    Dynamometer testing shows useful increases in power output, especially at medium engine speeds.

    Engine cleanliness
    Strip-downs of engines reveal greatly reduced accumulation of abrasive energy-sapping carbon deposits when Powerplus has been used. Reports of exceptional cleanliness of critical engine components, in particular fuel injectors, have been received from many users of the product.

    Diesel ‘bug’
    Fuel bacteria such as Cladosporium Resinae can multiply rapidly and even cause engine breakdowns by blocking fuel filters. This is a particular problem in marine vessels. Powerplus prevents growth of diesel bug in several ways, for example by generating a field that interferes with the surface charge of the microbial outer membranes.

    Diesel ‘gelling’
    Simple experiments involving samples of fuel placed in domestic freezers demonstrate the ability of Powerplus to alleviate the gelling of diesel fuel at low temperatures.

    Older vehicles
    Fitting Powerplus has always enabled older ‘leaded only’ petrol engines of all kinds to run perfectly on unleaded fuel without any further adjustment or modification.
